Trout and environmental fragmentation : BIDASOA

Trout and environmental fragmentation : BIDASOA

BIDASOA is a model that simulates the population dynamics of virtual brown trout (Salmo trutta) in a watershed, taking into account the fragmentation of their environment.

In this simulator, individuals grow, reproduce, and die depending on habitat quality and their own genotype. They can follow migration routes constrained by connectivity and fragmentation.

BIDASOA was developed using the CAPSIS modeling platform.
