Partnerships

The ORE DiaPFC is based on a core group of four founding units: the INRAE-UPPA ECOBIOP Joint Research Unit (Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle), the INRAE U3E (Rennes, Eu, Ducey and Pt-Scorff), the INRAE-AO DECOD Joint Research Unit (Rennes) and the OFB.

This core is complemented by a network of partner units and users of the ORE’s data and/or facilities, comprising French and international research units.

At the interface between management and research operators, the OFB, via the R&D cluster on Anadromous Migrants in their Environment (Pôle MIAME), is a key founding partner of this ORE.

Associated operators

Partners responsible for the management of aquatic environments contribute directly to the observatory’s activities.

These include the Fishing Federations (FDPPMA 50, 56, 64), the Associations for Fishing and the Protection of Aquatic Environments (APPMA Nivelle-Côte-Basque, Plouay, Guéméné sur Scorff, Saint Hilaire, Ducey), the Grands Migrateurs association of the Adour basin (MIGRADOUR), the Seine-Normandie Migrateurs association (SEINORMIGR), and the SMAB: Joint Association for the Development, Management and Enhancement of the Bresle Basin  are directly involved by providing facilities and even staff at the sites.

This is also the case for the "Basque Country Community", "Lorient Agglomération" and the "Scorff Valley Association", which also provide additional data records.
