BVROCHE

The stream is divided into 20 sectors of varying lengths, each corresponding to a relatively homogeneous stretch. These sectors have been monitored since 1988. The target species are salmonids and, since 2000, eels, except in sector 18 where all species are caught.
In spring, juvenile salmonids of the current year (0+) are fished in two sectors (RR06 and RR18). Three sectors are fished in two passes and the others in a single pass.
Two sectors are also monitored during these same periods on the Moulinet stream, one in two passes and the other in a single pass.
All fish caught are measured (Lf to the nearest mm), weighed (Pds to 0.1 g) and sexed. Scales are collected according to a sampling table and the presence of markings is noted. Individual marking using Pit tags has been carried out since 1993 on a sample of salmon and trout from the current year.
