Bresle River environmental characteristics

To understand certain behaviours or fluctuations in populations, it is essential to monitor changes in the key environmental characteristics that influence the populations studied.

For the Bresle River, data on the following characteristics are available from the data administrator.

	Rainfall has been recorded at several points across the Bresle catchment, especially in Eu (Seine-Maritime department), since 1983 (Source: Météo France)
	Hours of sunlight per day have been recorded in Abbeville since 1999 (Source: Météo France)
	Flow rate has been measured at the Ponts-et-Marais station (G0402020) by the Regional Directorate of Environment, Development and Housing of Haute-Normandie (DREAL) since 1999
	Water temperature has been monitored continuously at Eu (Seine-Maritime department) since 1984 and at several stations along the Bresle River since 1999	visit
	Air temperature is recorded in Dieppe (Source: Météo France)
	Water turbidity and conductivity have been monitored at the Beauchamps station (Somme department) since late 2015
	Tidal coefficients and high and low tide times can be obtained from the French NAval Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOM) website
